WRIT 2000: Theories of Writing:

This class was an introduction to many different theories of writing and writers. We learned about different types of writing, writing for different situations, different writing tools, etc. This piece was our final project and meant to take information that we had learned about a specific aspect of writing and design a research question that we wanted to explore about this aspect of writing. I explored the relationship between a higher value of ethos, logos, or pathos and college major/area of study.

WRIT 1133: Research and Writing

The goal of this course was to explore the ways that research writing changes based on the question asked, evidence used, and audience written for. Over the course of the quarter we created our own original research question and explored background information, conducting a survey, exploring findings, and compiling the information into an IMRAD style research paper. My research question addressed the relationship between mental illness stigma and gender in Colorado college students.
